Sweet Justice offers training and employment to adults and young people in the criminal justice system, as well as those who have exited. This training creates career pathways for our participants to become professional beekeepers, breaking entrenched cycles of recidivism.
Starting in 2023, Sweet Justice will offer Victoria’s first formal, accredited beekeeping qualification. Supported by the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Fund our program caters to people with low literacy, with an emphasis on hands on learning.
We love working with people who are willing to work hard and become skilled beekeepers. Our beekeepers train to national standards and obtain nationally recognised qualifications, creating a brighter future for themselves, their families and the community.
